Scrapbooking Template Guide
from:Have you ever wondered what you could do with the hundreds of photos that you have accumulated over the years? For posterity's sake, people take pictures to capture significant moments and special occasions such as birthday parties, anniversaries, graduation, Thanksgiving and Christmas Day, New Year or the birth of a new child.
If you are one of those people whose photo albums are a mess, then you could consider organizing and creating scrapbooks. These are a much more personalized, creative and fun way to relive those fond memories in your lives.
Scrapbooking "templates" refer to a pattern or design that you can use when making a scrapbook. There are hundreds of patterns to choose from.
To make a pleasing-to-the-eye scrapbook, you first need to gather all the material that you will need for the scrapbook itself, then choose the photos that you would like to compile into an album.
The fun part about scrapbooking is that you get to personalize a photo, and include a poem, for example, or printed lyrics of a song to relate to a particular photograph or memorabilia.
The most popular sizes for scrapbooking albums are 12" x 12", or a letter-sized paper which is 8 ½" x 11". Recently, a smaller format has been introduced which has a size of 6"x6'" or 8"x8".
You can find many web sites online which offer downloadable scrapbooking templates.
Use the look that you want when thinking of a template for your scrapbook. Decide on the pattern first, as well as the color and texture of the paper that you would like and don't forget to personalize your scrapbook by adding quotes or entries.
One example when you may want to creat a scrapbook is when your first child is born. You would have tons of pictures from when your baby first smiled, first took a bath, first crawled and took a step - all the important firsts in you and your baby's life.
The template for your "Baby's Firsts" scrapbook should be something related. If you have a baby boy, take blue as he base color and choose a pattern to suit your baby's personality.
You can even monogram your baby's initials using letter rub-ons or stickers. It is also a good idea to design the scrapbook using baby related items, like including baby-related items such as the first clean bill of health from the doctor, or pre-natal items like a screen shot of the ultrasound from when the baby was still in the mother's womb.
Just follow your instincts and be creative when making a scrapbook so that you will have something great to look at when reliving those precious moments in your life.
