Keeping Memories Fun With Disney Scrapbooking

from:

There is no denying the big impact of Disney on the lives of millions of children not only in the United States but all over whole world. How many children wouldn't be able to recognize Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, Goofy, Simba, Ariel, Belle, Aladdin, and other lovable Disney characters? Disney remains to be a wonderful element of every kid's life, and even adults.

The popularity of anything Disney is overwhelming. Products that feature Disney characters and insignia almost never fail to sell like pancakes. From t-shirts to mugs, toys to stickers, Disney products are sure hits not only with children but with grown ups as well. The impact of Disney spreads out to other fields including hobbies like arts and crafts. Among the popular crafts that have been infiltrated by Disney is scrapbooking. It seems as if scrapbook makers would also want Disney to be parts of their memento collections with the numerous options and designs for scrapbooking with Disney-related stuff as the theme.

One popular and obvious way of integrating a Disney theme into scrapbooks is by making albums of Disney vacations. In a survey conducted by America Online, they discovered that a typical family uses an average of 13 to 14 rolls of film during trips to Disneyland, Disney World, and other Disney theme parks. Most of the pictures developed from the films however are just stored in boxes and left to deteriorate, squandering very memorable moments. How wasteful indeed!

Fortunately these cherished pictures can still be saved by assembling them into scrapbooks that could help evoke the enjoyment of such times. To make such pictures more interesting, what other way would best to do it than making a Disney themed scrapbook?

Making Disney themed scrapbooks is easy. Just like any scrapbooking project, you need to make backgrounds first, lay out pictures, add interesting accents, and write text. To design backgrounds, you may use stationeries with Disney designs, these are available in Disney stores and craft stores. For accents you can use cutouts from Disneyland maps and brochures.

For those in a hurry to make their Disney scrapbooks, there are scrapbook making kits with Disney themes widely available in craft stores, book stores, and even online. Some websites are even dedicated to Disney scrapbooking itself.

Disney has always been a fun part of childhood. With Disney scrapbooking, one can keep those fun memories with Disney forever.
